My Weekend

My plans fell through for the weekend, so I'm staying in with my giant boyfriend (I mean book).  Since I was planning to be gone all weekend, I arranged for the dogs to stay with their adoptive parents, Ryan and Sophia.  I dropped them off this morning and pulling away was so damn hard.  I now understand why parents have a hard time dropping their kids off on the first day of school.  It's not easy to walk away!  I haven't really stopped worrying since (even though I know they're in perfectly good hands).  Leaving them for a year is literally going to be the hardest thing I've ever had to do.  I don't know how I'll get through it.  Let's just not think about it, shall we?

My favorite way to curl up with a good boyfriend (book) is with a cup of tea.  Here's the tea I'm trying today:
I don't have my Mana-tea tea infuser (in storage), but I found a picture.  Could you die??
Anyway, my parents aren't tea enthusiasts (what kind of Asians are they?) and don't possess a tea strainer, so I had to improvise.
That took forever!  I will say that although my parents' kitchen tools are so old there are barnacles growing on them, they do have some sweet updates.
This is perhaps the greatest invention ever!  It's boiling hot water on tap...and I LOVE it!  If you're updating or rebuilding your kitchen, DO THIS!  Such a time saver.  I'm not getting money from the hot water faucet people,  I swear, I just really think it's awesome.

Aaron's still living la vida loca in Hawaii.  Today he went to a park (look at the baby duckies!):
on his way to the beach in Waikiki:
He even sent me a picture of this beautiful sunset:
Doesn't this look fake?  I so need to figure out how to pull a Freaky Friday, although a man could NEVER handle being a woman, even for a day.  His head would explode.

I found this today and it's my whole life in a nutshell:
Now if only I could get my book (boyfriend) to ditch work and come back home, so we could finally grab life by the balls before it escapes.  ~Sigh~
