Today is my dad's birthday. This might be the only time in my life I haven't been able to go home and be with him on his birthday and it's extremely bittersweet. My dad is obviously one of the most important people in my life and everything I am is because of him. There's no question, I'm my father's daughter. I wouldn't be here today if it weren't for the sacrifices my parents made for me. My brother and I had an amazing childhood and we never wanted for anything. It's hard to be away from home today.

Awwwww we miss you both. It won't be the same but we will eat some sushi at hanabi for you.
