Today we stuck around the complex and had a little pool party. We just wanted a way to beat the heat without having to work for it (yes, we're lazy bums). Our complex is actually beautiful and has all the amenities of home (and then some...we never had a pool). Yes, we have to share, but it's well worth it. The property manager is perfectly pleasant and really knowledgable, so it's nice to talk to someone who knows the area. Here are some pictures of the complex:
Yellow apts on the left, pink house on the right. There's also a long driveway for cars, bikes, etc.
Off in the distance is a beautiful mountain:
Here's the other side of that coconut tree:
Lots more coconuts! Apparently there's a star fruit tree, orange tree and banana tree on the property, so I'll try to find them and get pictures.
We BBQed marinated pork we got at Mas X Menos and had tacos:
There's a building with 4 apartments (2 are vacant, one is us and the other is the property manager) and there's a small house being rented out:

In the bag is ground beef with veggies I made earlier. I also chopped some cilantro, lettuce and tomato.
In between cooking we swam:
Okay, I just had to take a picture of this:
We met our neighbors today (renting the pink house) and they were fascinating! They've stayed in Costa Rica and South America for awhile, so it was fun to pick their brains.
Aaron finally busted out his Go-Pro and we took some underwater kissing pictures. Pretty dope! We even saw some bats once it got dark, but they didn't show up on the Go-Pro unfortunately.
Tomorrow we go on our first excursion...wish us luck!
