Beach Therapy

Today we woke up sore and tired, so we knew we needed the beach.  It was low tide today, so I took some scenic pictures from the ocean side.
Then I turned around and took some ocean shots:
Aaron is the tiny dot behind me.  Crazy looking, huh?  The beach was totally deserted today, making for perfect pictures!  We got some great Go-Pro shots:
We couldn't load the videos, the internet isn't strong enough.  It takes amazing pictures though.

After the beach, we decided to go back to Pizza Pata for our fat fix.  On the way, we met a new friend:
He was the cutest and sweetest puppy!  We couldn't figure out where he came from, so he followed us along the beach awhile.  I wanted to take him home, but we just don't have the means to take care of him.  There are so many stray dogs and cats here, but the optimistic part of me thinks they just wander during the day and go home to their families at night.  Most of them have collars and are well fed, so I'm pretty sure this is the case.  On our street, all the neighborhood dogs can enter/exit their yards as they please and wander the streets.  It seems strange, but it's so normal here.  Dogs, people and businesses are just used to it, but it's still hard to see sometimes.  I want to take them all home with me!

Then we walked to Pizza Pata:
All the sidewalk benches around here are decorated according to the business they're near:
I finally got a picture of the pizza we got!  It was called a Supreme and consisted of pepperoni, ham, onion, mushrooms and red bell peppers.  Aaron's half had no cheese (yuck!):
The toppings are so fresh, it looks like they aren't cooked because they don't shrivel up!  They include this green pesto sauce that is absolutely delectable:
Now we're stuffed with pizza and beer:
and ready for a night of laying like broccoli.  Tomorrow we're going to look into a few more excursions.  I'll keep you posted!
