Sightseeing in Bangkok

We spent an entire day sightseeing in the blistering heat and off and on rain.  It was a crazy day, but super fun and we saw some great stuff!  Again, Aaron takes much better pictures with his camera phone (it's brand new), so once he gets his head out of his ass I'll post the really good pics.  Here's what I got in the meantime.
Ferry ride:
Tuk tuk ride around town:
Standing Buddha:
Sitting Buddha:
Marble temple:
We took a private tour of the Chao Phraya River (River of Kings) and canals on a long-tail boat:
Fed fish:
Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn-covered in scaffolding..grr):
Wat Pho (giant Reclining Buddha):
Wat Phra Kaew and Golden Palace:
Patpong Night Market:
They've seriously got it all (NSFW):
Crazy!
Siam Paragon (upscale shopping center):
All the selfies and good pictures are on Aaron's phone, so I'll post them when I can.
Bangkok is so much more than what you see in the movies.  It definitely has its seedy, strange parts, but it's also incredibly beautiful.  I don't know why I'm surprised, but we had a fantastic time in Bangkok and are already planning a trip back before we leave Thailand.

Today, we got on a plane and flew to Phuket (the largest of the Thai islands).
We're staying in Patong (the largest city in Phuket) and it's definitely the most touristy, but we're loving it so far!  The city has it all and our apartment is great with a fabulous view of the entire city.  I'll post pictures tomorrow!
