On the mend

Nothing much to post, we've basically been house-bound because I have a cold (I am getting better though).  I've been sleeping like a baby, not in the sense that I'm comfortable, more so in the sense that I'm awake just long enough for Aaron to feed me and to pee and then I'm out again.

We did go on one short excursion to the water the other day and had lunch:

It's been super foggy lately and someone Aaron met said it was actually smoke from crazy fires they have in Indonesia every year.  I'm sorry, that sounds nuts, but he said it happens every year (umm, so does fog).  I don't know what to believe!

Anyway, we ordered sweet and sour prawns:

Since I've been sick and Aaron's been better, he gets me take-out from a cart at the bottom of our hill.  This guy has all kinds of stuff:

Other than that, nothing much is new.  The only company I keep (besides my boo) are these guys:

These two little lizards like to hang out in our bathroom window every night (we leave the light on and it attracts bugs, which attract them) and they're adorable.  I've named them Winky and Blinky (Basketball Diaries, anyone?) and they're my only friends.  

Not for long though!  Aaron went to the bar down the street the other night after I passed out (we call it The Jamaican Bar because it's got a Rasta theme) and he met some really cool people that invited us to a party tonight.  Nothing fancy and they made us promise NOT to bring anything (which, if you know me, is impossible!  I NEVER show up empty handed).  They said in Thailand it's rude to bring things to someone's home if they invite you (I wonder if that's actually true), so I'm only bringing a smile (and my cold muahahahaha!!! Just kidding, I'm no longer contagious).  I'll try to remember to take pictures.
