After Naples, we went to Catania, Sicily (an island right under Italy). We didn't do much sightseeing (we were so wiped from our month of backpacking), but we did get some beach time and make some new friends. Here are some pics:
It took us 2 days of trains to get to Barcelona, but we finally did it! We got to our apartment today at 11:30pm and are finally settling in. We have also decided to go to Lisbon, Portugal as our last excursion with our Eurail Pass. Our pass expires on August 8, so the goal is to get to Lisbon and back before then. We leave tomorrow afternoon, sleep on the train and arrive in Lisbon Wednesday morning. We'll spend Wednesday and Thursday experiencing Lisbon and be back on the train by Thursday night. By Friday (my birthday!), we'll make it back to Barcelona, where we will stay for the rest of the month. Whew! Once we're back, I'll have time to blog for reals, I promise!
