Here are my parents at their wedding:
My parents met in SF, but got married in India (December 13, 1982) and then proceeded to live there for over a year. My mom was like a fish out of water, but she handled it like a champ.
Then a couple years later, I came along:
Then 5 years after me, my brother showed up:
I only took one of him, kinda self-centered of me, huh?
Here we are with my dad at some sort of fair:
Here we are riding a whale at Marine World (it will always be Marine World to me, I'm sorry):
I can't tell you how many people see this and think it was real. It's a fake whale people!
Then here I am all grown up (I was 20) and my mom and I went on a Mediterranean cruise with her side of the family (basically me and a bunch of Asians-oh and my Uncle Robin):
These were taken in Venice, before the cruise. It was the most fantastic trip EVER!
That about does it for Throwback Thursday. It's fun to look back at old pictures, I highly recommend it. It's crazy to see how skinny you were when you thought you were huge and all the hideous clothes and hairstyles you thought were so in. I can't wait to look back at this blog 10 years from now and laugh at myself and how ridiculous I looked. I'm imagining 10 years from now we'll all be wearing silver space suits and riding in Hovercrafts. Yes, I'm just as scared as you are that all my "future" knowledge comes from Back To The Future.
Great Scott! I gotta go work on my flux capacitor! 88 mph! Okay, lame, sorry, I'm done.
