Season's Greetings!

Christmas is upon us!  I can't believe it's happening so fast!  I love this time of year, although I don't necessarily love the weather.  I'm a creature of the sun, probably because I'm from California, where it's always sunny and bright.  Except right now, when it's cloudy with a strange deluge happening every so often.  Very perplexing, but apparently we need water for survival or something so bring it on!
Okay, here's the moment you've been waiting for with baited breath!  Our Christmas card (okay, don't get too excited, unless you're wearing Depends):
Voila!  If you can believe it, I made it entirely from scratch (which I'm sure you can because all the lines are uneven).  Oh well, I'm just happy I ended up making one at all, since I gave up 4 different times in the process.  I used Vistaprint, but I can't say the quality was the best, so I wouldn't exactly recommend them.  They were cut unevenly and the paper quality wasn't what I thought it would be, not to mention they weren't exactly cheap, so I was expecting a lot more bang for my buck.  Oh well, live and learn and use someone else next time.
Along the theme of Christmas, Aaron texted this to me the other day and I couldn't stop laughing:
It's the perfect mix of funny and stupid (Fupid?  Stunny?  Hmm...I'll think about it).
Speaking of fupid/stunny (still can't decide), here's what we did last night:
We made a Kane-enstein!!!  Run for your life!  It's Kanenstein!  Yea, we're dumbos (funbos?  Okay, giving up now).
Has everyone been Christmas shopping?  I can barely leave my house for fear of being trampled, so I'm guessing so.  Aaron and I have decided to opt out of the giving and receiving of gifts this year (to much chagrin).  It was a difficult decision, but we figured we needed to save as much money as possible, not to mention there are very few things people can buy us that we can take on our trip.  Most gifts would go into storage for a year, so what's the point?  Although there is one gift Aaron and I are getting that we couldn't be happier about:
This is our new house in all her glory!  Okay, she's far from new, but she sure is new to us!  Isn't she pretty?  I'm in love with her.

**JEALOUSY ALERT**
Aaron is still hanging loose in Hawaii and had a day off of work today, so he went to a beach called Paradise Cove and hung out with sea turtles!
Think about this while you're driving to work tomorrow in the rain.  What an asshole!  I've named the turtle Desdemona, in case you were wondering.
I wish I had more travel info to share, but honestly it's all boring stuff.  Right now I'm working on getting all my immunizations and choosing an international health insurance (which is so far from fun, I feel like I'm reading from a textbook).  Now I get why that kid stowed away on a plane, it's just so much less paperwork.
Alrighty, I have my last FULL week of work starting tomorrow (yikes!), so I better get some sleep.  Aaron sent me something to post on the blog:
Isn't it perfect?  Thanks babe!  Okie dokie goodnight!
