Finally home

We're finally home and getting all settled in.  It's partially sad and strange, like we've given up a life of so much freedom, but it's also so cozy and warm to see our families and old stomping grounds.  It's like everything and nothing has changed.  I know none of this makes any sense, but my brain keeps telling me that nothing in my backwards life makes sense anymore.  

We're swamped with people to see, places to go, errands to run.  We picked up the the dogs today, which was great and we're all adjusting to a new life.  Aaron leaves for a job in Colorado on Friday, so until then I'll be pretty busy helping him get all ready to go.  I'll definitely blog all about the South Island and about our homecoming as soon as I can, but it probably won't start until Aaron goes.  Bare with me...
