Krabi

We spent 3 amazing days on the island of Krabi and it was incredible!

First things first, the boys had to do another fitting for their suits:
They're looking good!  I must say, for $135 not only can you get a fantastic quality 3-piece suit (tie included), but it's all completely custom-made.  They took measurements of every inch of their bodies and did 3 fittings to make sure everything was just to their liking.  At the end, they even gave each of them a specific number that contains all their measurements and said if they ever need another suit to email and give that number and it can be mailed to The U.S. for about $30!  For less than $200, they can get another totally custom made suit in any color combination!  We even added a black trim on the jacket pocket and collar that's so swag it's just insane!  Crazy cool hook up!  If you're in Thailand, definitely get a custom suit (or for the ladies, they do business suits, wedding dresses, blouses, skirts, etc.).
Last meal in Patong:

The next morning (November 9th) was Narayan's 26th birthday!  We walked all the way down our hill and caught our mini-bus to Krabi.
It was about 3 hours and it was pretty miserable, but then we were there and it was beautiful!  We hitched a ride in the back of a pick-up truck to the beach:
Niny caught a fish!
LOL!

We walked about an hour looking for a decently priced hotel (and can I just say, when you're PMSing and stuck with boys and walking forever in the heat, it's just not a good mix).  We finally found PK Mansion, not a fancy hotel by any means, but decently priced and near the beach.  YES!  We unpacked and showered and got a long boat to Railay Bay Beach.

Railay Beach is still on the island of Krabi, but it's on the other side and can only be reached by boat.  We bought tickets (about $5.50/person round trip) and waited on the beach for our ride:
Yay, boat's here!
The ride took about 20 minutes and was beautiful.  The water here is a color I've never seen before.  It's a sea-green that can't be described or captured.  Railay Beach was complete perfection.  Just wow.
We didn't actually get to Railay until around 4pm, so we only had 2 hours until the last boat left.  While the boys were in the water, I decided to walk the island a bit and ran into a huge monkey family:
and this creepy cave:
They had a bunch of shops, restaurants and bars, but we didn't have a chance to go to any before having to catch the boat back to Krabi.  We got to see a gorgeous sunset:
We got back to Krabi and immediately found a travel agent, who gave us a great deal on a 4-island boat tour for the next day (about $22 each).  Here's the description:
Yipee!  We went back to our room, showered, changed and got some grub.  I was in the mood for shrimp and garlic pizza:
OMG insane!
Then Niny and I got traditional Thai massages:
For less than $9 each (including a $3 tip), we got hour-long massages and they really worked out all the kinks.  Honestly, it hurt like a bitch.  This woman was shoving her elbow into my back, standing on my body and twisting me around her like a pretzel.  I was in PAIN, but my brother loved it.  I'll admit that afterwards I felt like a new person.  My body was totally aligned and everything seemed to be worked out and relaxed.  Those chicks really work hard for the money!  Happy birthday bro!

The next morning we walked down to the beach and caught our speed boat, all ready for our tour of the 4 islands.
Island #1: Phranang Cave
We were pretty hungry, so we stopped at a food boat and got a snack:
Here are the caves:
Yup, there are penises everywhere!
Here's why:
Aaron took a swim:
He's that tiny dot way over there!
I waded out to get a good shot of him and got caught picking a wedgie:
My bad!

Island #2: Chicken Island
Here's why:
We didn't go on shore, we just snorkeled nearby:
Go Pro, do your thing!
Awesome!!

Island #3: Tup Island
Sand angels:
The cool thing about Tup Island is the "sand bridge."  It's basically super shallow water, creating a "bridge" of sand from Tup Island to the neighboring island.
Pretty neat!

Island #4: Poda Island
This was the beach where we got fed a boxed lunch and were able to relax and swim for a couple hours.
Lunch was friend rice with a fried egg and veggies:
Not half bad, but check out our company:
Ahh!  Giant bees!!!  Seriously, they were huge!
Funny sign alert:
Good thing they told us!
The boys swimming, like the only 2 people on Earth:
Then it was time to go back to Krabi.  We had a great time exploring the islands!!

We got back to the room around 3pm and slept for a few hours before starting our night out.  First things first, I need dinner!
Nothing hits the spot like Indian food!
Then we hit the bar scene.  There was a courtyard across the street from the beach that had a bunch of bars and strip clubs.  We opted for a hookah bar:
Now, anyone who knows me knows I'm not a smoker, but I'll hookah when the occasion calls for it:
Before we left, we made sure to get Narayan's girlfriend, Briseida, a super cool bracelet we found (she loves pizza):
Perfect!

Then the boys wanted to play pool, so we went next door:
The bars closed eventually and a local Thai guy we met said he knew of another bar with a pool table, so we shared a tuk tuk with him and a really nice German guy and were off:
The boys played pool awhile, while I ordered a kebab:
The white sauce was super garlicky and delish!  Kebabs are all over the world (seriously, everywhere) and each country does them differently.  However, they're ALL good!  Perfect drunken-late night food.  Get with it America!

The next day, we got picked up at our hotel and taken to the bus station, where we waited for an hour and a half for the mini-bus to get all the way back to Patong.  It took forever and we were all hungover, but when we got back we had to do a last suit fitting:
So worth it!  They look great!!  Keep in mind, normally they'll be wearing shirts and ties LOL
Since the suits fit perfectly, we were able to take them right then and there.  We finally made it back home and went to the restaurant next door to get food:
Yummy yummy yummy!

Today was a relax, recuperate, laundry, loose-ends, pigging out day:
Tomorrow we leave for Bangkok.  We will be in Bangkok for 4 days and then Narayan flies home and Aaron and I go on to Cambodia and Vietnam.
I'll blog when I can!
