Chalki

The day after coming home from Kalymnos, we hit up one last island, Chalki.  The skies looked ominous, but we hopped on the ferry anyway (Carpe Diem!) and got stuck on a tiny island all day in a continuous rainstorm.
Chalki was quaint and charming and the beaches were SUPPOSED to be amazing, but it was pouring off and on, so we walked for a bit and then sat in a cafe ALL DAY, waiting for the ferry to take us back home.  The ferry ride was like what I imagine being in a washing machine to feel like.  I don't get motion sickness, but even my stomach was turning.
The payoff came later that night, when we got primo footage of a full-on Lightning storm, right from our balcony!  It was incredible!  I can't post the videos, but here are some screenshots:

Wildest storm I've ever seen!  I'm going back inside before I get zapped!

We are leaving for Athens tonight (I hope the lightning doesn't make an appearance!) and will be there for a few days before making our way to Thailand on the 27th!  Ahh!! Too excited!
