Jess's "Bachelorette" Party!!

Hi all!  I know it's been awhile!  As promised, I'm posting pics of my bestie Jessica's wedding festivities.  We just got back from Maui and it was amazing (stay tuned for those pictures!), but let's first start with our super fun "bachelorette" party!  I put bachelorette in quotes because we didn't get turnt up or even dressed up and go out on the town, which isn't Jess's style.  She didn't want a traditional bachelotette party with strippers and drinking and waking up having no clue what happened (ahh to be 21 again), so instead I suggested a sleepover with pizza, movies and jammies.  She was into it, so that's what we did.  OMG was that just the dumbest explanation EVER of why we had a party??  Geez, I'm rusty.

Anywho, the only day that worked for us was a Sunday night, so none of her other friends could really make it, which was unfortunate, but we had a blast anyway.  In the end, it was Jess, me, her sister, Melisa and her mom, Jacque.  Girls night!!  Whoop!  Whoop!

We made homemade pizzas:
Mmmmmm!
Teamwork:

Melisa's husband, Brian, helped us cook the pizzas in their pizza oven attachment on their BBQ:
Awesome!!!  Why did I not know about this?!  I need this in my life immediately!

Family shot:
Pizza time:
It was soooooo good!  Nothing like homemade pizza fresh out of the pizza oven!

I made favors (the cellophane bags) with sleepover essentials such as cozy socks, an eye mask, a toothbrush, a cute frame with the quote "Here's to the nights that turned into mornings with the friends that turned into family" (I mean what's a sleepover without a cute frame?) and some mini donuts for breakfast.
Melisa provided us some popcorn containers filled with candy for our movie watching pleasure and she got us each a swag bag with matching shirts and champagne flutes for us to sharpie up and drink out of.
Bride tribe people!!!

We watched Bridesmaids while enjoying pizza and candy, then we took a movie break and did a dress fitting!!
Just stunning!!

We picked out her undergarments, jewelry and accessories, so this was really a practical fitting, but also super fun!

Then we vegged some more and watched Bride Wars:
Melisa and Brian have 2 giant German Shepards, in case you were wondering what all the footprints are.  No, we weren't just mud wrestling.

We all signed the party sign I printed as our mantra for the night:
Low-key, but super fun slumber party!!

One week later, we were all in Maui!  Check back for Maui pictures!  They're too good to miss!
